No, it's not my site's tag line. It's Joomla's :) Joomla is a content management system (CMS). A CMS keeps track of every piece of your website's content, be it simple text, photos, video, documents, anything you can imagine. Applying CMS, you are required no technical skill or knowledge of web design and developing to manage your content.
With Joomla, you will be able to build your websites and powerful online applications. Joomla is very easy to use and extensible, make it very popular for novice as well as experienced webmasters. Moreover, it is an oper source solution which means this software is freely available to everyone. Well, maybe the description about Joomla is overfluous :) Most webmasters or even internet users know already about this popular CMS, at least ever heard about it, and need no more explanation. I just want to write about it. No, it's not because I feel bad for not writing about Joomla while I use this CMS for my site :) I just want to share my personal experience in using it because I really like it. Applying Joomla is like magic: simple and easy but hardly found if nobody tells you. Yes, at the early stage I develop my site using the CMS, I felt confused and totally lost. It is really powerful and providing many features, components and options so that I felt like a 3rd grader in front of a control panel of an advanced and complicated system. After awhile, I managed to put things together. I became more familiar with its control panel, the features, modules, plugins, components, menus, options and other things. I can edit and modify the HTML and CSS and make a bit change on the layout which I feel contented with. It's a small thing, but it's big for me as I am not really a coder or designer. Well, that's all, more or less. If you are about to build a website and haven't decided yet what the way you will develop it, give Joomla a try. Trust me, you will like it and regret why I don't tell you earlier. It's helpful to find someone to tell you how things work so you can build your site faster, but you can always find help on Joomla's forum. I find most of my problems with this CMS solved by refering to the forum. Good luck with your website!
